This ad by Marketing Film lets us revisit the awesome artwork for "Metalstorm", directed by trash maestro Charles Band. It was shown in 3D and according to the lucky fellas who had the opportunity to see it back then, this 3D version was very good. The movie just has been released on DVD by Universal. Unfortunately Universal used the wrong aspect ratio. The original version has got an aspect ratio of 2,35:1 (Cinemascope), the DVD version's is 1,33:1.

"Metalstorm" ist da keine Ausnahme. Der Film wurde ursprünglich in 3D im Kino gezeigt. Augenzeugenberichten zufolge war die 3D-Version sehr gelungen. Der Film wurde in den USA gerade von Universal auf DVD herausgebracht. Leider ist auf der DVD das falsche Bildformat zu sehen. Der Film wurde in 2,35:1 gedreht (Cinemascope-Format) und liegt auf der DVD nur im Vollbild/4:3-Format vor.
